Mentions the "New England Historical and Genealogical Register, Volume 102, 1948," as well as the "Whipple Bible," in the possession of Kenneth's cousin, Marilyn Vogt. Kenneth tends to favor the information in the Whipple Bible, over the NEHGR. Gives name Miriam Durkey.

The transcription clearly states Ripley, [ Chautauqua ], NY as the marriage location. Odd that no date was recorded ( two marriages in the Deaconus family that year? ). The marriage date I gave earlier comes from Biographical & Historical Record of Kane Co., Illinois; Vol II ( Chicago, Illinois: Beers, Legget & Co., 1888. pp. 774 - 775) and likely the source for J. H. Whippleus 1898 obituary in the Batavia Herald, Jan 13, 1898, page 1, column 3, above the fold. The combination of both of my sources substantiates the information Ken Vogt shared with me on 01 Nov 2017, cautioning that his data was unverified."
