Ruth Arnold would be Ruth Dyer. The Vital Records of Mendon, MA records the marriage intention dated March 11, 1817 bet. Amasa Arnold and Ruth Dyer and shows a marriage record dated 15 Feb 1824 bet. Ruth Arnold and Resolved R. Whipple."
