!SOURCE: Email from Anne Billeter (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 14 July 2018. Regarding Mary's husband Austin's marriage date (previously entered as 10 Feb 1824), Anne writes:

His marriage to Mary Cox (I51867) is recorded in "Elder Davis Dimoch's Diary: 1824 Feby 11 Austin Whipple of Berkshire, N. Y. to Mary Cox of Choconut." Source: "Proceedings and Collections of the Wyoming Historical & Geological Society, v. 16,[1918] 'Elder Davis Dimock. Record of Baptisms, Marriages, and Vital Statistics, Compiled and Edited from his Diaries,' by Mrs. Eleanor McCartney Bamford, p. 277. From biographical information about Elder Dimock provided on p. 267, he was residing in Bridgewater, Susquehanna County, PA, from 1809 to 1848. Both Bridgewater and Choconut are townships in Susquehanna County, PA.

Unfortunately I cannot locate the source material for the following info, which I have from my Mother, Barbara (Whipple) Billeter (I7561)'s records. She cited "Van Auken", which may be the Van Auken info cited in the article cited below (Detroit Society for Genealogical Research Magazine, vol. 24, #4, p. 151.)
