In this city, July 12, by the Rev. J. W. Leek, Henry S. Whipple and Rose S. Clark, both of Hartford." The divorce petition states that he deserted her on 1 Jan 1865, leaving her with two minor children, issue of said marriage, viz Carrie 3 years, George, 2 years (as of the date of the petition, 2 Jan 1868)
