Notes

• In 1820 Mary and Henry were living in Nelson, Madison Co., NY. Close by is her sister Cynthia who married Lemuel Richardson and her other sister Lucy who married Robert Hazard.
• Need to find her in 1830 census. Maybe she had already married Mr. Carpenter.
• Her tombstone inscription reads "2nd wife of E. Rice Sen."
• Mary probably moved to Trumbull Co., Oh with her son, daughter and brother . She married Ephraim Rice in Mecca, Trumbull Co,Ohio on Nov 10 1842.Marriage shows her as Polly Carpenter so this helps confirm my conclusion that she married after Henry died. Mary's brother Samuel Buck was living in Mecca at the time of Mary's marriage.
• In the 1850 census for Greene Twp, Trumbull Co. OH: Ephraim Rice 79 Farmer born MA, Polly " 59 " VT
• I found Mary "Polly" in the 1860 census with her son Samuel Buck Jerauld in Greensburg, Greene Twp., Trumbull Co., OH along with her third husband Ephraim Rice.
