!SOURCE: Email from Ken L. Bocock (email hidden) to the Whipple Website, 28 Jul 2013. He writes: "You have William Bocock, born 1796, dying 13 May 1848 (some say 1847). Suggest that this is incorrect. There is no civil registration of the death corresponding to this and I cannot find a possibly relevant burial record. My late cousin, Roy Bocock, who did much research of our Bococks, and I. suggest that William died in 1845. His death was apparently registered in the Ecclesfield Registration District in Jan-Mar 1845. William and family were in the Ecclesfield District when the 1841 census was taken."
