Within this record, she produced her family bible to the Justice of the Peace for the county, not only proving her date of birth [10 May 1861] and parentage, but also lists her name as Elizabeth May Adams. All other records I have found for her, inclusive of her application for acceptance into the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), and the application for her husband's pension, show her name as May A. Adams."
