!SOURCE: Email from Tom Stone (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 15 May 2006. "Franklin was born in St Johnsbury Vt. and is listed as unconnected in The Monroe Book by J. L. Guilford. His father listed as John and mother as Mary in 1810 St.Johnsbury census. It seems he came to RI at an early age and for some reason moved to Charleston Vt. after 1836. Then returned to RI before 1850 because he & family are listed in RI 1850 census."
