(The Anair source gives a death date of 14 Aug 1845--only six months following Helen's birth.) Followup email of 1 Jun 2008 gives the following information: "Helen M. Whipple b 2.15.1846 d 8.14.1891 Northfield, Belknap, NH of a lingering illness, daughter of Benjamin, wife of E.D. Young."
