"Arnold's VR 2:4:43 does list the marriage on April 4, 1790 between Sarah Whipple (9769) and Ezekiel Whipple (9763). However, the Providence Gazette of April 10, 1790 (15:433) has the following account: Whipple, Ezekiel and Mrs. Sarah, widow of Christopher, at North Providence. Arnold's VR 2:4:43 records the March 6, 1785 marriage between Christopher Whipple, of Thomas, dec'd. and Sarah Cushing, of Elijah, dec'd. This latter union is in the Whipple Genweb--Christopher at 10111 and Sarah Cushing at 10137. In my database I have Sarah/Sally Cushing, widow of Christopher Whipple, married a second time to Ezekiel Whipple. Do you think that Sarah Whipple (9769) and Sarah Cushing (10137) are the same person?"
