!SOURCE: Email from Joanne Lahr-Kreischer to Weldon Whipple, 2 Apr 2006. Seneca married Sarah Scull in Warren County, Ohio. Joanne notes the following:

I question whether Alice C is a child belonging to Seneca and Sarah, or to Phebe Jane and William R Anness, as Alice was 8 months old in 1860. Phebe Jane and William Anness were residing with Seneca and Sarah in 1860. If Alice is a child belonging to Phebe, Phebe and William were married after her birth; if Sarah is the mother of Alice, Sarah would have been 51 years old when Alice was born. Since neither scenerio is impossible, further work needs to be done to determine who she really belongs to.
