There is also a Alpine death certificate for Abel Chase son of B. Chase born in New York with informant Charles H. Chase of Alpine. The death date is right for Abel, son of Bela. Abel lived in section 16 of Alpine Township. The physician signing Abel's is in Casanovia . The plot thickens X what's going on here? The person reporting information is a Charles H. Chase. Mind you when I discovered that my grandmother's grandmother was a Chase, I asked my father how he was related to the Uncle Charlie Chase whom he bought a Civil War Rifle and watch from, and often talked about and my father didn't know! That was the only connection I had ever heard of at that time to a Chase. There was a Charlie Chase that was Alpine township supervisor for years.
