!SOURCE: Email from Betty Rodgers to Weldon Whipple, 2 Feb 2003. Cites "a little notebook I had on me years ago when I walked through the Lyonsburg Cemetery. ... Lyonsburg is not on any New York State map. It did not seem to be even a tiny village but just a little one room district school across the road from the cemetery and a few farms near by. ... The closest little villages are Bliss, Pike, Eagle, Centerville, or Java." Gives death 29 Dec 1863. (Previous sources give 29 Dec 1865.)
