Johnston, Lamoille, VT.Y However, in checking the microfilmed record on AmericanAncestors, this same birth/parents is listed on the 1860 page, meaning that Harriet was born 18 July 1860, not 1861.Y Which is good, as

Louisa Whipple, mar.,age 26-2-9 at death, born Johnston, Lamoille, VT, d. of consumption in Lowell, Middlesex, MA onYMarch 20, 1861, an explanation as to why on the 1870 census Harriet was living w/her maternal grandparents Jacob and Eliza Gregg (see Feb. 2005 note). VT birth records show Louisa's birth asYJanuary 11, 1835 (consistent w/her age at death).
