"Paraline Ella Watson, 83, of Independence, KS died Feb. 27, 2004, at her residence in Independence, KS. She was born March 14, 1920 near Lone Cherry, Chautauqua Co., KS to Gilbert L. and Minnie M. (Whipple) White. She married Carl O. Watson on July 25, 1936 in Carthage, MO. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2000. Survived by two sons, John Gilbert Watson, Independence, KS and Philip Eugene Watson, Havana, KS. Burial at the Havana Cemetery in Havana, KS."
