I noticed that both John C. Whipple {45474} and Thomas Whipple {[formerly] 57329} married women named Elizabeth and had children named Julia, John, Frank, and Freddie. Now, I thought that a little too coincidental and wondered if there might be some mix-up. I couldn't find a Thomas Whipple married to an Elizabeth in census records for 1850-1880, but John C. Whipple and Elizabeth are found in the 1850-1880 census records. Nor could I find any record for Thomas Whipple born bet. 1824-1840 in the NEHGS vital records database. Nor was a Thomas Whipple listed under his father's census record for 1850-1870.
