The Carroll County NH rootsweb has a bio of the Walker family which indicates Benjamin Walker was the son of Matthew Walker who m Sarah Whipple and had a son Benjamin b 1809 who m in 1835 Mahala Garfield dau of John and Susan (Rogers) Garfield b Charlestown 7.19.1814. They had 8 children, Lucretia, Susan, unnamed infant, Susan, Floretta, Watson, George and Etta. They cite the history of Charlestown, NH. Matthew Walker came to Charlestown, NH from Thompson CT at an early date.
