[Note: Moses' brother, Thomas, also married a woman named Thankful Powers; one of their children was named Hannah Whipple, and died 18 Aug 1819 in Claremont, N.H. Is it possible that Moses' second marriage to Thankful Powers is an error? --Weldon Whipple]
