Shirley created the chart "20 yrs. ago in Ipswich [Massachusetts] at the library using Hammatt & Darling papers, Ipswich V[ital] R[ecords], Hamilton V[ital] R[ecords] & cemetery records." Shows Mary's husband as Thomas Jacobs married 15 Jan 1672/3 in Ipswich [when Mary was only 5 or 6 years old].

"The daughter I have married to Thomas Jacobs is Mary born same date 1677 the daughter Mary (Martha) Reynor, dau of Humphrey Reynor or Reyner of Rowley, MA, prob wife to John b 1625 although I have seen her listed as wife to the above John as well. I know there is some confusion over the two John Whipples but this may at least clear up the two Mary's and their husbands."

William and his wife Mary were members of the Wenham Congregational Church and were dismissed in 1714 along with 52 others to form a church in Ipswich. Their children were baptised at Wenham. They lived on the estate of William's father having received the property under his will. He later sold the property to his brother John Davison. William died 17 Jan 1729/30 and left an estate of 516 pounds. Mary's estate was presented 16 Mar 1740 and totaled less than 40 pounds.Adds approximate death date.
