"William Mickle Whipple was divorced from his first wife in 1912 & married Marcia Brainard Adam 1st July 1913 ... His first wife said about William that he was the kindest father & husband that could be & a very good provider. He told me (his sister Laura) that he would give aything if he could believe Mormonism, but he could not. I told him it was his invorment [environment?] & he said maby so. He always argued for Mormonism & believed in a hereater & was very moral."
