She writes: "Back in the 90s my father's sister did the family tree and from what was found Milton Palmer Whipple's father was Arron Frost we had no name for a mother or any dates. That's all we know. My dad remembers his aunt talk about meeting or knowing some member of the Frost family. We just want to know who we really are."

!SOURCE: In email addressed to Weldon Whipple, 17 Mar 1999, RNDaniels at aol.com reports: "My older brother is now telling me that my Grandfather [Milton Palmer Whipple] was actually a foster child and a legal adoption may have never taken place. I would really like to find out the truth about this. I would like to know who my maternal great grandparents really were.

"I have heard that his mother was Elmira Sanborn (Mathews) Frost. Also that she was married to either Aaron or Burt Frost of Eastport, Maine. Elmira (who went by Mira) was known to my mother as Grandma Frost. I unfortunately was the youngest of my mother's 5 children and never knew her, and the others don't remember much except that my mother spoke of her. My Grandmother also spoke of her from time to time. I had been told as a young child that Robert Frost the poet was also related in some way to us (not sure about this."
