Henry was a man of means, acquiring land in Dickleborough in 1534 from Thomas and Margaret Browne for 40 marks of silver, 66 acres in Pyrlyston (Byllyngforth) from Robert Frense and John and Joan Munforth in 1537 for 100 marks of silver, and 356 acres in the Manor of Baconys and in Dickleborouth, Tyvetsale, Shymplyng, Rusale, and Pulham St. Magdalene in 1538 from Sir John Shelton, knight, The consideration was 40 marks of silver. In May 1539, he and John Fellaw of Norwich, gentleman, jointly purchased lands in Sterston from John Pykarell of Dickleburgh. The size and value is unknown. This land was for the use of Pykarell and Anne, his wife. Anne is presumed to be Henry's daughter.
