"Elizabeth was the mother of record of two of the children, Jennie Maria Whipple and Daniel Henry Whipple and was likely the mother of Marion C. Whipple born about 1870, Charles who died as a baby and perhaps of Sarah Annie. ... Daughter Marian, who was unmarried and a school teacher, resided with [her father Charles Henry] in his latter years."

"Marion Cecilia Whipple, born about 1870, graduated State Normal School in Salem and was a teacher of Millis Massachusetts where she resided after the death of her father. She was living in 1916. A social column newspaper account of Marion indicated she had a cousin Henry W. Whipple with whom she spent her vacations."
