!SOURCE: Email from B. Huckins to Weldon Whipple, 17 Nov 2015: "The son Elijah is in the 1870 census with wife Laura in Sheridan, Crawford, Kansas. By 1880 Elijah has his mother Mary, age 68 born PA, living with him and he has moved back to Summit Ohio. Elijah is age 45, Laura his wife, also born Ohio, is 42 and they have a daughter Sarah E. Hoover living with them age 8." Sarah was adopted.
