William G. Whipple's Ythird wife, Julia A. Lincoln, was b 7.29.1824 in Roxbury MA, the daughter of Manly Lincoln b 3.11.1796 Franklin, Norfolk, MA and Fidelia Fearhum who married 3.4.1822. I am unable to find a death record for William.Y He likely died prior to Julia's second marriage in 1869.

Julia Lincoln Whipple married 2nd Joseph H. Bickford on 2.14.1869 in Boston.Y He was the son of Joseph and Betsey Bickford of Charlestown MA and was a cabinet maker.Y I don't think the marriage to Bickford lasted very long as in 1870 Julia Bickford is found in the census with only her daughter Lottie L. Whipple with her. Y In that census, Julia Bickford is in Kingston, Plymouth, Mass where he father died in 1871.

I believe that YJulia married again to Thomas J. DunbarYin Springfield Worcester MA on 7.15.1875. Thomas was 75, born Minot, Maine, son of James and Sarah Dunbar, and he ran a boarding house in Springfield in the 1870 census with then wife Judith.Y Julia's Yage Yat her last Ymarriage is given as 46 although she is somewhat older.Y In the 1830 census, Manly Lincoln had one daughter age 5-10, (his second daughter wasn't born until 1832).Y Her cemetery stone Ysays she died at age 50 on 1.24.1877. The reason I believe this is the same Julia is that she Yis buried in the Union Street Cemetery in Franklin MA where her parents are buried.
