Notes

After a period of years, I am again searching for ancestors of my great-grandfather, James Clifton Whipple, b. 22 May 1858, d. 11 May 1918. Indications are that he may have been born in Ohio. He was a businessman in Chicago in the late 1800's, and married Mariel Threlkeld Armstrong in 1883. He moved to Lewiston, ID in 1910, where he died. Father's name may have been Joseph, and newspaper obituary says "survived by a sister in Hamilton, Ohio."
