Notes

WHIPPLE - Charles B. Whipple, 86, formerly of 127 Delaware St., Tonawanda, Monday (Jan. 19, 1970) at the Beechwood Retirement Home, Williamsville, where he had resided for the past six years. Mr. Whipple was a former banker at South Dayton, N. Y., and was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was the husband of the late Alice (nee Peek) Whipple. Survived by a brother, Sidney E. Whipple of Bradenton, Fla. and a niece, Mrs. Charles Seruso of LeRoy, N. Y.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hilliard Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Eldon D. Snyder will officiate. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Eden, N. Y.
