Died 11 Jun 1903 at his home at 130 Roxbury Street in Keene. Survivors include "one sister, Miss Josephine G. Whipple of Brookline, Mass., and an only daughter, Mrs. Edward H. Newell of this city. Two cousins of the deceased, Henry S. Whipple of North Dunbarton and John L. Whipple of Goffstown, are the only male descendants of his family in this country."
