!RESIDENCES: "Jesse Stone was born in Groton, Mass. His parents moved to New Ipswich, N.H., Windsor, Vt., Lunenburg, Mass., and Fryeburg, Maine. They returned with him to Groton, Mass., where he received a good education. In 1814 his family moved to Pillar Point in Brownville, Jefferson Co., N.Y. Here Jesse became a prosperous farmer and local lawyer. He resided there 65 years, dying there 4 Jul 1878 (87 years of age)." --D. Roe.

!CHILDREN: "Jesse had thirteen children by his first marriage to Betsy Homer, two children by his marriage to Betsy's sister Rachel Homer. He married thirdly to Hannah (Fields) Randall." --D. Roe.
