I noticed that you had a different DOB for Mathew's son Robert (I have 10.10.1839) which made me take another look at the family ties in that line. I corresponded some years back with an Olin family researcher and they had Robert and David married to Olin sisters which still makes sense given where their families ended up. The Olin Genealogy referenced does have the sisters married to a David and a Robert Whipple but does not go so far as to identify them as brothers. I am in doubt as to the date of birth for Robert as the census shows him to have been born closer to 1835 than 1839, the date given in the Olin genealogy. In the 1800 census, David's father is born VT and Roberts says NY, another minor doubt. Anyway, at least you can add the descendants of Robert with a note that he is perhaps the brother of David.
