There is also a Russell Whipple who m Oct 19, 1843, Clarissa Gage b Apr 29, 1818 NY dau of Aaron D. Gage and Delilah Francis. This Russell was born Oct 10, 1805 in NY and married in Washtenaw County, MI and is likely related to this family. This Clarissa Gage is the Clarissa Whipple bur with the Whipples in Lima Cem. Clarissa Gage's sister Harriett Eliza Gage b abt 1820 married Almon Whipple 1844 (Almon 5. below) Russell Whipple and Clarissa had three children, Henry, George and Maria, first born in NY, last two in Michigan.
