Whipple {77874} was b. 27 Aug. 1837 in Victory Hills, Saratoga, NY, the son of Christopher Whipple {104286} b. Bethlehem, Albany, NY and Jane Haynor {104287} b. Victory, Saratoga, NY. He d. 16 Sept. 1914 in New Bedford, Bristol, MA by 'gas poisoning - illuminating gas, suicide.' Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, New Bedford, Bristol, MA. Informant was Mary C. Crandall {77879} (his sister)"
