Stephen S. Whipple married Maria Wing in Cuyahoga Co., OH (src: Cuyahoga County Probate Court Historical Marriage Index 4:408, no date specified). There is also a record of a marriage in Cuyahoga Co., OH between Stephen S. Whipple and Abby Jacobs (same source, 3:216, which seems to indicate this marriage occurred before the one to Maria Wing--if this is the same Stephen S. Whipple.)
