!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 3 Mar 2017. "In 1860 he was residing with his parents along with first wife 'Polly' and dau Oliette in Hardwick.Y After that he is found in the census in Monroe County 1870, and then in Clark County NY where he remained until his death.Y Henry was a member of the 18th Reg, Wisc Infantry in the Civil War and according to his pension record he died 12.9.1914.Y His widow at the time was named Harriet."

!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 3 Mar 2017. "In the 1900 Census Henry and Harriet are in Sherman Clark County Wisconsin. This census indicates Harriet had two children, both living. Her (Hawley) children were not living with her in the 1880 census after she and Henry Whipple married. In 1900 Henry and Harriet do however have two additional children living with them, both of them born in 1887 ( differing months so apparently not children of the same mother)."
